Chapter 396 spoilers!!!
Formation: Part 2
Summary:
Chrollo is confronted by the bullies Uvo and Phinks on the day of the screening for using 'their' videotape without permission. Sarasa, who is the youngest of them all, defuses the situation, promising Chrollo she knows how to handle those two. The screening begins, and the crowd is excited to see the Power Cleaners on-screen speaking in Meteor City's language. But the screening has to be halted midway because the voice tape got tangled.
Chrollo asks the Father to lend him the mic. In response to Uvo's heckling, Chrollo appears to apologize, speaking in the characters' voices (Chrollo did the voice for all the male characters in that tape). Then he gets the audience to count down as he resumes the movie, this time with a live dub by himself, Paku, Sheila, and Sarasa. Chrollo's performance as the monster is particularly impressive, sending shivers down the young Troupe members' spines. The screening ends with thundering applause from the audience.
Uvo's and Phinks's group are waiting for Chrollo after the screening. Chrollo wants to go and apologize for using the tape, but Sarasa preempts this by 'dubbing' the voice of Uvo's heart, yelling "Chrollo, I never knew you were such a badass!" (paraphrased). Uvo then asks to voice the monster for the remaining episodes in the tape. The rest of the Troupe wants a piece of the VA business too; Nobu volunteers to be Green, Feitan Yellow, Phinks Blue, Shalnark Purple + Pink + Genius Professor, Franklin the Great Demon King. Machi is too cool to dub the Princess, so she asks to voice a villain instead. The group is formed.
In one of their table reads, they discuss what to name their group. Uvo proposes 劇団 (gekidan), meaning troupe (of theater performers), but Nobu feels like it sounds too serious, and that they are more like traveling performers, so Paku proposes 旅団 (ryodan) for the 旅 which means travel. Thus "Something Ryodan" is tentatively named. When asked why he is so excited about what the Troupe will perform next, Uvo says that he has found what he wants. And when Chrollo asks him what that is, Uvo replies "I want to be the world's #1 villain, in the many plays I will perform with you throughout the world."
Chrollo is worried that Sarasa seems to have gone home by herself, although Shalnark assures she's fine as she lives rather close. We see Sarasa walking amid a jungle of industrial waste, excited to have found a large dump of video tapes which she thinks may contain newer episodes of the Power Cleaners. Nearby, suspicious figures in a car are looking for their last prey to abduct.
