Will Pariston unleash Chimera ants in Black Whale?
We have the information that Pariston kept the chimera to play around with them later, but, we never came to know it's status. As of now, they might have been secretly loaded in the ship. It could add more hype to the already heated up encounters that are lined up to lit up this arc. I believe it would be a great twist in the midst of the ship. We already have many hints regarding a full blown war in the manga, add to it, this information will create great chaos and panic especially among the civilians. Chimera ants get strong by eating people with nen abilities. So, it might turn out to be a mini-chimera arc. People will have to complete their objectives as well as avoid or eliminate the chimeras. If at all this scenario plays out, chimera's dynamic with the nen beasts of the princes would be interesting to watch.
Maybe Pariston plans to foil everybody's plan. He might himself be looking out for something. We have a clue that he has zero interest in money as hinted by Ging, while he offered money to join Beyond's group. Maybe he wants more power and want to mess around with the world. As Ging said, "if you make your target to move the way you want, you are a successful hunter". So, Pariston might be similar too, just that he wants to make the whole world his target and have fun. The Chimera ant is a chip he has to mess with the world. The visit to the dark continent is in a way a chance for him to secure a scary unknown entity, and take control of it to rule the world.
Pariston knows that tackling Ging can be a huge task. He might be thinking to use the right opportunity and cause chaos in the ship and disrupt Beyond's plan without anybody noticing. Maybe Ging being number two really has a great significance, that being said, Pariston of course just can't take it outwritely. So, he will try to create a situation to either break it up or make it pointless. Pointless can be that the group somehow disbands, either by any means like getting them killed or changing their opinion on the expedition somehow.
Considering the way Ging described Pariston's behavior, "he doesn't want to lose neither does he want to win". So, using same argument we can say that he doesn't want to destroy the world, but at the same time is trying to destroy the world. It's like creating problems on your own and then trying to solve it yourself, which is precisely what makes him such a powerful player and more importantly his ability to make it happen to a great extent.
