Chapter summary:
We start with a conversation between the old man and Hinrigh. The old man asks for permission to go to the bathroom, which is rejected by Hinrigh, and instead asks to come out of the room urgently. As the old man takes his sweet time, Hinrigh throws his knife but the old man vanishes from there. They deduce that a trap teleports you to a different room on the ship. Wang gives information to him about the current status of the Troupe.
We see the hideout of the Heil-Ly family and Morena is seen with her subordinates planning out the events. We see a Dogman, level 36 beside Morena. Morena sends her to get a guard from Tserriednich to infect them with contagion and other teams for surveillance near the prince.
We now see a bunch of people crashing into a room for inspection. The team comprises a captain and his subordinates. They are Tserriednich's soldiers in the lower tiers. They are now hunting Morena for betraying the prince. One of the members has information about nen, which the captain had no idea about. The captain is surprised and thinks how come he got this info when he has higher authority? The member finally names the person from whom he was getting information and her name is revealed to be Volksen.
The members discuss the possible future events involving the Hunter Association and Kakin and what is keeping the balance in the ship. A small sense of distrust might actually make everybody take matters into their own hands instead of working as a team for which the expedition was planned. They also guess the possible reason why Tserriednich isn't taking action right away against Morena, is because he found some interesting toy and he is shown to be a person who doesn't leave a place until he masters it. They conclude that he might have found out about nen abilities and is likely taking his time to master them.
We get to know that these members are actually Tserriednich's friends. They are in the hindsight of him and protecting him. They are away from him as they believe that staying close to him would lessen their friendship. They badly want him to change his ways. Volksen has arrived in tier 3 and joined with the members, they discuss dangerous nen abilities and possibly Morena having it too. Since they don't seem to have any deterrence against it, they decide to protect themselves from the Morena.
Personal thoughts:
The vintage wall of texts is back again. Loads of characters were introduced and the build-up is great too. It seems that this chaos will be the greatest in the history of manga. So many freaking factions with their own motives are present on the ship. How can you expect them to quietly go along with each other? Seriously, I am super hyped about what's going to go down.
Even though I believe many of the characters introduced will not survive, but they will surely be part of the chaos and live up to it. I wonder what Wang and Hinrigh will do now since they have agreed to the Troupe taking on the Heily-Ly mafia. The other loose end is Chrollo, he seems to be fixated on killing Hisoka so I doubt that he has any plan to take Heily-Ly, since he might leave it to his team and go for Hisoka himself.
I can think of Chrollo actually arriving in tier 1 while the rest of the spiders handle the mafia in the lower tier. It would hype the actions that would happen in the succession war.
